TOWSON, Md.- The Tiger Athletic Fund (TAF) Donor of the Game for Saturday's Homecoming football game against Elon University was
John Yingling.
Yingling graduated from Towson in 1971. He attended the school of Business and Economics, majoring in business administration. Yingling played on the first varsity football team at Towson in 1969, who finished with a record of 4-4-1. After graduation, he has stayed active with the football program and continued to give back to the Towson athletic community.
In addition to Donor of the Game, he was also included in the recognition of the 1969 team, which took place at halftime.
"Towson was absolutely the best choice due to the academic and athletic opportunities offered there," said Yingling. "I am proud to be associated with the University and the tremendous progress made there over the years."
Donors like Yingling help our athletic programs grow and give countless opportunities for our athletes. He truly has TU pride and continues to show it with his involvement in athletics. Please consider donating to Tiger Athletic Fund and help impact our student athletes and their experience here at TU. We would like to thank John, along with all of our other TAF donors for their support to Towson Athletics.
