Story Lines
Towson returns to the friendly confines of SECU Arena as they play host to George Mason.  Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Since its opening prior to the 2013-14 season, Towson is 23-10 inside SECU Arena.

The contest will renew the rivalry between the two old CAA foes.  The Patriots have had the upper hand in the all-time series, holding a 32-9 advantage.

In the last meeting, Towson defeated GMU 85-81 in overtime.  The victory put an end to a 20-game losing streak to the Patriots.


The Tigers are just 5-15 all-time in games played in Towson.  The last victory came in 1992, prior to any current member of the team being born.

The Tigers enter the contest on a three-game winning streak.  Over that span, Towson is outscoring its opponents by 16.3 points and holds a 122-90 advantage on the glass.

Towson shot a season-high 48 free throws in the victory over Coppin State.  It was the most free throws attempted since the Tigers took a school-record 61 free throws against James Madison in the 2014 CAA Tournament.

vs. George Mason
The Tigers and Patriots are meeting for the 42nd time overall and the first time since the 2012-13 season.  GMU holds a 32-9 advantage in the all-time series, including 15-5 in Towson.

Last Time vs. George Mason
In the last meeting between the two schools, Towson went on the road defeated the Patriots 85-81 in overtime.  The victory put an end to a 20-game losing streak for the Tigers.

Early Season in the A-10
Wednesday's game against George Mason will continue the Tigers early stretch of games against the Atlantic 10 Conference.  So far this season, Towson has held scrimmages against Richmond and Duquesne, while also opening the season at La Salle.

Before They Were Born
It has been a few years since Towson has defeated George Mason in Towson.  In fact, the drought stretches back to 1992 and spans 10 games.  To put that into perspective, no current member of the men's basketball team was alive the last time the Tigers defeated GMU in Towson.  

Free Throw Parade
Towson spent a majority of its game against Coppin State at the free throw line.  The Tigers shot 48 free throws in the contest.  It was the mos free throws shot in a game since the Tigers shot 61 free throws against James Madison in the 2014 CAA Tournament.  Towson shot 47 free throws in its victory over CSU a season ago.

Overtime Needed
The Tigers needed overtime to defeat Coppin State Saturday afternoon.  The win put an end to a three-game overtime losing streak dating back to last year.  Towson was 1-3 in overtime games in 2014-15.

Battle for Greater Baltimore
Towson moved to 2-0 in the Battle For Greater Baltimore after a 69-61 victory over Morgan State, and an 81-77 overtime victory over Coppin State.  The Tigers still have games at Loyola (Dec. 8), and at home against UMBC on Dec. 23.

Parker-Rivera Double-Double
Senior Timajh Parker-Rivera recorded his first double-double of the season when he scored 13 points and pulled down a career-best 13 rebounds in the victory over Gallaudet.  Parker-Rivera did most of his work in the first half as he had nine points and nine rebounds in the game's first 20 minutes.

5 in Double Figures
Towson put five players in double figures in the victory over Gallaudet.  Mike Morsell led the way with 16 points, while Arnaud William Adala Moto and Jordan McNeill added 14 points, and Timajh Parker-Rivera and Byron Hawkins had 13 points.  It marked the fourth time in the last three seasons Towson had five players score in double figures.

43-Point Victory
Towson's 43-point victory over Gallaudet marked the seventh largest margin of victory in school history.

Staying in the Neighborhood
Towson will not be logging many miles over the next few weeks.  Through the rest of the semester, the Tigers will not leave the Greater Baltimore area.  Towson will play home games with Gallaudet (Nov. 25), George Mason (Dec. 2) and Sacred Heart (Dec. 5).  The Tigers will play road games at Coppin State (Nov. 28) and Loyola (Dec. 8).
