MUNCIE, Ind. – Despite posting the highest team scores on bars and beam, the Towson gymnastics program fell to Ball State 194.100 to 192.550 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers had eight top-three finishes in the dual meet, led by
Tyra McKellar who won bars and the all-around.

HOW IT HAPPENED - The Tigers opened the meet on bars, scoring a team-best 48.075. Tyra McKellar led the way, winning the event with a season-best 9.825. Bridget Steffen tallied a season-best 9.700 to finish tied for third-place overall.
- Towson posted a team score of 47.900 on vault in the second rotation. Noelle Harada tied her career-best of 9.675 to finish tied for sixth-place. Cortni Baker followed with a career-best of 9.600.
- The Tigers tallied 47.875 as a team on floor with Katie McGrady and Harada earning matching 9.650 scores. McGrady's score tied her career-best for the event. In her collegiate debut, Amanda Pratt scored a 9.550 on floor.
- Towson closed out the meet on beam, posting a team-best 48.700. Mary Elle Arduino finished second overall with a career-best 9.800. Gabriella Yarussi and McKellar finished tied for third overall with matching 9.750 scores. McKellar's score was a season-best for the event. Lauren Cahalan also scored a season-best of 9.725 on beam, tying for sixth-place.
- The Tigers had three gymnasts compete in the all-around as McKellar won with a season-best score of 38.700. Harada and Arduino competed for the first time in the all-around, scoring 38.650 and 38.075, respectively.
