TOWSON, Md. - The Tiger Athletic Fund [TAF]/ Spirit Cruises Donor of the Game was awarded to Maggie and Fred Reitz during Saturday afternoon's men's basketball game versus Old Dominion University at SECU Arena.
Maggie, a 1979 and 1988 graduate, studied occupational therapy and completed her undergraduate and Masters at Towson. She is currently the Vice Provost of Towson University. Her husband, Fred, currently serves as NASA's CSCs program manager overseeing contractor and subcontractor activities associated with the CISTO-SCTS contract, which is staffed by roughly 40 employees.
Together, they have been supporters of Towson University as both fans and philanthropists for over two decades.
"We began giving to athletics in appreciation of the financial support our daughter received while she was a TU student-athlete," said Dr. Reitz.
Their daughter Jessica graduated from Towson University in 2007. She studied social sciences and was a member of the cross country and track & field team.
The Tiger Athletic Fund thanks Maggie and Fred, as well as all of the TAF donors for their support in Towson Athletics. Click here to join The Reitz's and support TAF by making a gift today!
