TOWSON, Md. – The Tiger Athletic Fund (TAF) Donor of the Game Presented by Spirit Cruises was awarded to John Chanaud during Thursday night's men's basketball game versus Northeastern University at SECU Arena.
Chanaud graduated from Towson's business and economics school with a degree in accounting in 1986, as well as played on the varsity baseball team. Additionally, John was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity during his time at Towson. He credits Towson for preparing him for life after college.
"I built many lifelong friendships and relationships while at Towson," said Chanaud. "I give back because I feel that I owe Towson a lot of credit for where I am today. I had a wonderful time down in Frisco for the National Championship. However, I am most impressed by SECU Arena. I hope that one day we are able to fill this arena to capacity."
Chanaud has been a men's basketball season ticket holder since the opening of SECU Arena in 2013.
The Tiger Athletic Fund thanks John for his support of Towson Athletics. To join in supporting student-athlete scholarships
