TOWSON, Md. – Despite recording a season-best team score of 194.050, the Towson University gymnastics team fell to No. 14 George Washington on Sunday afternoon. The Colonials finished with a team score of 196.000. The meet, held in SECU Arena, served as the Tigers' Team Up For 1 Day.
Towson's best performance of the meet was on the floor exercise (48.600), the Tigers' final event of the meet. The Tigers recorded season-bests on vault (48.375) and the uneven bars (48.500). Towson had gymnasts set or matched six career-bests and eight season-bests.
