YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Towson University gymnastics team dropped a road dual meet decision to Eastern Michigan University on Monday evening. Eastern Michigan won the meet with a team score of 196.000, while Towson finished with a score of 193.075.
The Tigers had 19 top 10 performances at the meet, including five of those routines in the top five.
Erin Tucker won the event title on vault, while
Gabriella Yarussi finished as the runner-up on balance beam and all-around. Towson had two other top-three performances at the meet, as
Tyra McKellar was a runner-up on uneven bars and
Noelle Harada placed third in the all-around.
