CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The Towson University men's swimming and diving program opened the 2017 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center with a school record and silver medal performance.
Towson is in second-place after the opening day with 66 points. William & Mary leads the field (80) while Drexel (64) rounds out the top three.
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Nick Breschi,
Jeremy Liu,
Jack Saunderson and
Nick Essing took second-place with a school record time of 1:28.74.

The four-day meet continues tomorrow with morning prelims at 10 a.m. and evening finals at 4 p.m. The morning session will feature time trials for the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard freestyle and men's one-meter diving. The finals session will also feature the 200-yard freestyle relay.
