Tiger football standout Gary Rubeling '85 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1995.
During his time at Towson, Rubeling was twice named a first team All-American and earned honorable mention Academic All-American honors. The 1983 team captain led the nation with 13 interceptions that season and earned the Male Athlete of the Year award from Towson in 1984.
Rubeling set a single-game record with three interceptions and ranked among the NCAA all-time leaders in career interceptions (25).
