Times Set for Men's Lacrosse Preseason Scrimmages

TOWSON, Md. -- As finals week comes to an end this week at Towson University, the Tiger men's lacrosse team has announced scrimmage times for its preseason exhibitions in late January and early February.

On Saturday, Jan. 26, the Tigers will host a round-robin style day at Johnny Unitas ® Stadium, featuring Towson, Bucknell and York College of Pennsylvania.

Towson and Bucknell open the action on that Saturday with an 11:30 exhibition. At 2 p.m. the Bison and York will meet before the Tigers round out the afternoon with a 2:45 p.m. scrimmage against York.

The Tigers will get a practice run for road games on Saturday, Feb. 2 with a trip to Charlottesville, Virginia to take on the Cavaliers from the University of Virginia. Opening faceoff is slated for 12:30 p.m.

Timing formats for the exhibition days will be announced at a later date. Please check back on TowsonTigers.com for more information as it becomes available.

Towson, which reached the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship for a fourth-straight season, begins the 2019 season in earnest on Saturday, Feb. 9 with a local rivalry. The Tigers will host Johns Hopkins University, ranked ninth in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook, with a noon start at Unitas ® Stadium.
