2019 Cross Country Schedule Announced

TOWSON, Md. – Mike Jackson, head coach of the Towson University women's cross country team, has announced the team's fall 2019 schedule.
 
The Tigers will start the year for the fourth consecutive year in the Towson Invitational. Hosted at Oregon Ridge Park, the Tigers lone home event will bring Greater Baltimore area schools to compete to start the season on Friday, August 30 at 4 p.m.
 
Towson will rest for almost two weeks before heading to Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) foe James Madison for the Dukes' Invitational. On Sept. 14 the Tigers will see conference competition for the first time in Harrisonburg with a 10:45 a.m. start.
 
The following weekend, on Sept. 20, Towson travels to Iona College in New York for the Br. Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions. Competition is set to begin at 9:45 a.m.
 
On Oct. 5 the Tigers will run in the historic Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The start time is 10 a.m.
 
Another yearly event is next on the schedule as Towson heads to Princeton, New Jersey for the Princeton Invitational. The final meet of the regular season begins at 10 a.m.
 
The CAA Championship will be hosted by JMU, scheduling another trip to Harrisonburg for the Tigers. The conference's title events start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
 
The 2019 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional is two weeks later on Nov. 15, on the campus of Lehigh, and the NCAA Championship meet is set for Friday, Nov. 22 at Indiana State.
