The Tigers (298-305-290) had an outstanding performance at the Pirate Collegiate Classic hosted by East Carolina in late September.

The black and gold set two new school records as a team in that tournament. Their final round score of 2-over 290 beat the school record for the lowest team round score by five strokes. Their overall tournament score of 29-over 893 set a new 54-hole record for the program. The Tigers finished in second place overall.

Individually, the golfers also had stellar performances with three of the five Tigers finishing within the top five.

Jordan Cornelius (72-71-74) finished in second place with a score of 1-over 217. She had 14 birdies in the tournament.

Julia Calomiris (76-78-68) finished tied for fifth with a score of 6-over 222. Her final round performance tied the school record for lowest individual round score. This was her career-best round. She also had the lowest final round score in the entire field.

Freshman Odette Font Garcia (72-77-73) also finished with a score of 6-over 222. Her final round helped her move up the leader board by four spots allowing her to also be tied for fifth. She had five birdies in the tournament.

Head coach Shannon Briggs and the entire Towson Women's Golf team plans on using their previous performance to motivate them to play well at the Jupiter Women's Invitational.
