We would like to update everyone on the tailgating policies at Towson University. An indefinite ban on tailgating was never considered and at no point was tailgating at our football games in jeopardy.
 
Alumni and supporter tailgating is not and will not be affected by the conversations we are holding with our students. The University's administration and student leaders are discussing how best to address issues of student safety and behavior in parking lot 14 during our home football games.
 
These discussions that student affairs are engaging in will not change the policies that regulate tailgating in other lots. Our fans experience, both inside and outside the stadium, is always of the utmost importance to us.  

We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday as the Tigers open up Colonial Athletic Association play and go for their third straight win. Go Tigers!
