Today we recognize our honorable mention moments that fell just shy of making the Top 10.
- Women's Basketball – Five years is a long time to go without a win in the conference tournament, that was the mountain facing Head Coach Niki Reid Geckeler and the Tigers as they entered the 2014-15 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Tournament. Things didn't look good as the Tigers went down 18-8 in the first half. However, Towson was not to be denied in its quest for its first CAA Tournament win since the 2008-09 season. - Men's Swimming & Diving – 13 school records over the course of a four-day meet usually means something is going right and that proved true for the Tigers at the 2015 CAA Championship. The Tigers finished in second place, it was Towson's highest finish at a CAA postseason meet since joining the conference in 2001-02. It is the Tigers' best postseason finish since they finished second at the America East conference meet in 2000-01. Highlighting the record breaking action for the Tigers was Matt McKenney, who was part of seven records and Nick Breschi who was part of all four record-setting relay teams.

The dunk caught the notice of ESPN and was in consideration for SportsCenter's Top 10 and was retweeted by ESPN.

Freshman catcher Shelby Stracher hit a three run shot in the fourth inning which tied the school record for home runs by a team in a single-season. Not to be out done, freshman third baseman Daria Edwards belted a grand slam in the sixth inning which was the Tigers' 45 home run of the season and established a new school record. Towson finished the year with 49 home runs.
