Wethington had the best game of his young career against Dartmouth. The Suffolk, Virginia native carried 27 times for 145 yards and his first career touchdown. The marks established career highs for both rushing attempts and yards. He became the first true freshman running back to rush for 100 yards since Darius Victor ran for 105 yards against Lehigh in the opening round of the 2013 playoffs. It was also the most rushing yards by a true freshman since Terrance West ran for 261 yards against New Hampshire in 2011.
