Breschi won two events and swam on two second-place relays as the Tigers were narrowly edged by William & Mary on Saturday (150-130). Breschi timed 51.12 to win the 100-yard backstroke and followed it up with a win in the 200-yard backstroke (1:51.50). Both of those times are season-bests for Breschi. His time in the 100-yard event is the fastest among CAA swimmers while his 200-yard backstroke time ranks second. He swam the lead leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay that finished second with a time of 3:08.34. That time is a season-best for the relay team of Breschi, Will Dougherty, Brandon Ress and Nick Essing and ranks fourth among CAA teams. He also swam the lead leg on the 200-yard medley relay that finished second with a time of 1:33.05. That time is a season-best for the relay team of Breschi, Ryan O'Leary, Jack Saunderson and Essing. It ranks second in the CAA behind William & Mary's time from that meet. The Tigers won seven events and posted 18 top-three finishes in the dual meet against the Tribe.
