Sianni Martin averaged a team-best 17.0 points per game in a pair of Tiger victories last week. She also added 4.0 rebounds per game to go along with two assists and two steals. Her performance so far this season has the Tigers off to a 5-0 start, the best start to a season since the 2008-09 campaign and the fifth time in program history that the team has started the year with at least five straight victories.
 
Against UMBC, Martin tied for the team lead with 14 points. She was a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line in that game and added a steal. In Sunday’s win over George Mason, Martin paced the Tigers with a game-high 20 points. She also added a season-high six rebounds, two assists and a steal in the contest.
