Kuilan earned tournament MVP honors after leading the Tigers to three more wins and the team title at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational. She finished the week with 41 kills (3.42 per set) and added 14 digs, five blocks, three service aces and an assist while hitting .309.
Kuilan started her week with a season-high 25 kills in the 3-1 win over Fort Wayne (her second 20+ kill match of the season). Kuilan hit .476 in the win over Fort Wayne and added seven digs, three blocks and a pair of service aces. In Saturday's sweep of Kent State, she contributed five kills, four digs and a block.
Kuilan wrapped up her weekend with 11 kills, three digs, a block, a service ace and an assist in the five-set win over Oakland. Kuilan and the Tigers concluded nonconference play with a perfect 14-0 record and are one of just seven Division I teams that remain unbeaten.
