Highlighted by a first-place finish and school record in the shot put by junior Lauren Coleman, Towson indoor track and field team opened its 2017-18 schedule at the Navy Lid Lifter last Tuesday. Coleman’s throw of 51-3 feet in the shot put shattered her own school record of 45-7 feet, set a year ago. It also qualified her for the 2018 ECAC Indoor Championships in March 2018.
