Stoner played the role of the heroine Friday night as converted a penalty kick in the 105th minute to lift Towson past host and longtime rival Delaware for a 2-1 win. The victory was Towson’s first CAA win in overtime since the 2011 campaign and the penalty kick was likely the first overtime game-winning PK for the Tigers in a CAA match. Stoner took five shots on the week, putting all five efforts on goal as the Tigers went unbeaten with a 1-0-1 mark and collecting four valuable conference points.
