Tigers Fall to Northeastern 3-0

TOWSON, Md. - Northeastern hit .206 and claimed a 3-0 victory over the Tigers on Friday night in Colonial Athletic Association play. The Tigers (8-11, 1-3 CAA) dropped their fourth straight despite a career-high eight kills from Rachel Gambow.

"I thought for having to make some line-up adjustments tonight the kids did a decent job trying to fit in new roles," said Coach Paul Koncir. "I thought Rachel did a good job of filling a role she hasn't done before but overall we need to have more drive."

Northeastern jumped out to an early lead with a 25-18 victory in the first set. The Huskies hit .429 in the second set compared to .161 for the Tigers and claimed a 25-11 win and a 2-0 lead in the match.
