Story Lines
Towson looks to get back in the win column as they travel to face Temple.  Wednesday's game can be seen live on ESPN3.

The teams are meeting for the third-straight season.  Temple holds a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series, but Towson won last year's meeting, 75-69, at SECU Arena.

The Tigers are off to one of their best starts in school history at 7-2.  A victory over Temple will match the second-best start in school history through the first 10 games of the season.

John Davis, who is returning to his hometown, leads the CAA in rebounding at 9.2 boards per game.

Davis also leads the CAA with five double-doubles, including three double-doubles in the past four games.

The Tigers have gotten to the foul line this season as they are tied for sixth in the NCAA in free throw attempts (247) and tied for fourth in free throws made (172).


Tonight's Game
Towson plays its second-straight road game as they travel to face Temple Dec. 10.  Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN3.

On the Air
Wednesday's game can be heard live on CBS Sports Radio 1300.  Spiro Morekas will provide the play-by-play, while Jerry Bembry will provide the analysis.

On TV
Wednesday's game against Temple can be seen live on ESPN3.  Dave Leno will provide the play-by-play, while Stephen Donahue will serve as the analyst.

2015 Charleston Classic
Towson has been selected to participate in the 2015 Gildan Charleston Classic on Nov. 19-22, 2015.  Other teams in the tournament include Bradley, George Mason, Long Beach State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall and Virginia.

vs. Temple
The two teams are meeting for the third-straight year and the fifth time overall.  The Owls hold a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series, but the Tigers won the last meeting, 75-69, in SECU Arena last season.

vs. the American
The Tigers are 1-8 all-time against teams currently in the American Athletic Conference.  Towson's lone win came last season, 75-69, over Temple.

Following a Loss
The Tigers suffered their second loss of the season at Georgetown.  Towson responded well after their last loss at Alabama by running off seven-straight victories.

Davis Returns Home
Sophomore John Davis will be returning to his hometown when the Tigers face Temple.  The Philadelphia native played his prep ball at SS Neumann-Goretti High School.

Getting to the Line
The Tigers have lived at the free-throw line through the early part of the season.  Towson is currently tied for sixth in the NCAA in free-throw attempts (247) and tied for fourth in free-throws made (172).  The Tigers have made 23 more free throws than their opponents have attempted.

Mr. Double-Double
Forward John Davis has been Mr. Double-Double this season as the sophomore has recorded a CAA-best five double-doubles this season.  Davis is getting stronger as the season goes, having three double-doubles in his last four games.

Controlling the Greater Baltimore Area
The Tigers have played four games this season against a team from the Greater Baltimore area.  Towson is 4-0 with victories over Morgan State, Goucher, UMBC and Coppin State.  

In-State Winning
Towson has had success the past two seasons against teams from the state of Maryland.  The Tigers are 4-0 this season after going 4-0 in 2013-14.  The Tigers will meet one other team from the state when they play at Navy Dec. 22.

The Tigers take some time off for final exams before returning to the court Dec. 20 as they play host to LaSalle.
