TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's swimming and diving program travels to Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival Delaware for a dual-meet on Saturday, Jan. 17.

The Tigers improved to 6-1, 2-0 CAA last Saturday after defeating McDaniel at home, 158-84. Towson earned nine victories in the meet and took the top-three spots in six events.

Sophomores
Noah Pritchard and
Ryan Martin took home multiple w against the Green Terror. Pritchard earned victories in the 100-yard freestyle (48.74) and the 1000-yard freestyle (9:44.55) while Martin timed 1:00.21 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:11.06 in the 200-yard breaststroke for the first-place finishes.

Matt McKenney picked up two wins, timing 53.07 in the 100-yard backstroke and swimming on the 200-yard medley relay. He combined with sophomore
Nick Breschi, junior
Matt Hans and senior
John Gartland to finish the event in 1:35.30.

Philip Forrester made his diving debut against McDaniel, scoring 101.10 in the one-meter and 132.23 in the three-meter event.

Towson returns home on Saturday, Jan. 24 to host Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. This meet, the final home meet of the season, will serve as Senior Day.
