Story Lines
Towson returns to SECU Arena as they host Elon in the Colonial Athletic Association home opener.  Tip-time is set for 7 p.m.

The Tigers and Phoenix will be meeting for the first time on the hardwood.

Elon is in its first season as a member of the CAA.  The Phoenix won their first game as a conference member Saturday at Drexel.

The Tigers are looking to avoid their fourth 0-2 start in conference play in the past six seasons.  

Towson is 7-6 in conference home openers as members of the CAA.  The Tigers are 2-1 in the Pat Skerry era.

Towson is in the midst of a six-game losing streak.  It is the longest such streak since the 2011-12 season.

Turnovers have been the story during the current six-game losing streak.  During that time, the Tigers are averaging 15.5 turnovers per game.  Opponents have taken advantage and are averaging 17.0 points off turnovers over that stretch.

Towson plays it CAA home opener as they welcome conference newcomer Elon to SECU Arena.

2015 Charleston Classic
Towson has been selected to participate in the 2015 Gildan Charleston Classic on Nov. 19-22, 2015.  Other teams in the tournament include Bradley, George Mason, Long Beach State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall and Virginia.

vs. Elon
The Tigers and Phoenix are meeting for the first time on the hardwood.  Elon is in its first season as a member of the CAA after coming over from the Southern Conference.

CAA Home Openers
Towson is 7-6 in conference home openers since joining the CAA.  The Tigers have won each of the last two CAA home openers after dropping five of the previous six.

Avoiding the 0-2 Start
Towson is looking to avoid its fourth 0-2 start to conference play in the past six seasons.  The Tigers started the last two conference seasons 2-0.

Hawkins Goes on a Run
Freshman Byron Hawkins scored eight-straight points for the Tigers in the second half to pull Towson within four points at James Madison. It marked the second game this season Hawkins has scored at least eight-straight points for Towson.  Hawkins scored eight-straight points in the first half against Navy, and then came back in the second half and scored 11-straight Tiger points.

McGlynn Leads Nation FT Shooting
Junior Four McGlynn leads the country in field-goal percentage.  He is shooting 95.7% (66-of-69) this season.  McGlynn is also the NCAA active career leader in free throw percentage at 91.4% (256-of-280).

Taking Care of the Ball
Turnovers have a played a big role in the success for the Tigers this season.  In their seven victories, they are averaging 12.9 turnovers per game.  But, in their six losses, they are turning the ball over 16.7 times per game.
