STORY LINES
The Tigers will look for their first road win of the season as they travel to face Stony Brook on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.

The game will be played mainly on the ground as the teams rank near the top of the CAA in rushing.  Towson ranks fourth in the league at 187.0 yards per game, while the Seawolves are right behind them at 186.5 yards per game.  Towson will feature Darius Victor, while the Seawolves will be without leading rusher Stacey Bedell.

Special teams have played a big part in the first half of the season for the Tigers.  Towson has allowed two kickoff returns for touchdowns.  Stony Brook enters the weekend as the top kickoff return team in the conference at 28.6 yards per return.

The two teams played a defensive battle last year at Unitas Stadium with Stony Brook coming away with a 14-3 victory.  SB turned a first quarter interception in the endzone into a touchdown to take the early lead.

The weather for Saturday is calling for temperatures to reach the upper 50s during the day.  Temps will drop into the upper 30s later in the evening.

vs. Stony Brook
The Tigers and Seawolves are meeting for just the third time on the gridiron.  The two teams have split the previous two meetings, with the road team coming away victorious both times.

Saturday's game marks the seventh time the Tigers will play on Oct. 10.  Towson is 3-3 in the previous six games on this date.

0-2 Start to CAA Play
The Tigers are off to an 0-2 start in CAA play for the fourth time since joining the league in 2007.  In three of the previous four occasions, the Tigers dropped their third conference game.  Only the 2008 Tigers won their third conference game after dropping the first two.
Klugh Sets Kickoff Return Yards Record
Freshman Lyrics Klugh had a big day in the return game as he set a school record with 211 kickoff return yards.  He had big returns of 65 and 77 yards in the second half.  He broke the old record of 182 yards set by Julian Blair against Bucknell in 1990.  The 211 yards are the second most by a player in the FCS this season.


Frazier Tosses 3 TDs
Senior quarterback Connor Frazier threw a career-high three touchdown passes against James Madison.  Frazier's previous career high was two, set twice during the 2014 season.  On the season, Frazier has thrown six touchdown passes and four interceptions.  Two of his interceptions have come hail mary's at the end of the half or game.

Summers Catches Pair of Scores
Junior college transfer Christian Summers caught the first two touchdowns of his Towson career against James Madison.  He hauled in a nine-yarder in the first half, and closed out the scoring with an 11-yard TD grab in the fourth quarter.

Handy Makes 14 Stops
Linebacker Eric Handy tied a career-high when he recorded 14 tackles against James Madison.  He previously made 14 stops in the 2014 season finale at Rhode Island.

Hurwitz Hits Career Long FG
Senior place kicker Sam Hurwitz closed out the first half against James Madison with a career-long 41-yard field goal.  It was the first field goal he attempted since going 2-for-2 in the season opener against East Carolina.  His previous career long was a 39-yarder against Delaware State last season.
