TOWSON, Md. – After returning to its home pitch last weekend for a pair of Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) games, the Towson women's soccer team hits the road again this weekend for another pair of league games.

On Friday, the Tigers take on relative newcomer College of Charleston at 7 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. game on Sunday against UNCW.

The Series: College of Charleston
The series between the Tigers and Cougars is young one, with the teams meeting for just the third time Friday night. The Tigers are unbeaten against College of Charleston with a 1-0-1 record since the 2013 campaign. Towson won the first meeting 2-1 in Charleston, followed by a 0-0 draw last season at home. Current senior Hollie Garber tucked away the game-winner in the 74th minute of the first matchup between the programs.

The Series: UNCW
The Towson vs. UNCW series dates back to a single meeting in 1994 before the Tigers joined the CAA in 2002, ending a seven-year series drought. The Seahawks lead the all-time series at 12-2-1, but the last two games have ended in 2-1 UNCW wins. Towson will be looking to snap a three-game dry spell against UNCW, dating back to a 1-0 overtime win in North Carolina in 2011.

Piling Up the Minutes
Senior defender Vasthy Delgado has been piling up the minutes in 2015. The Arlington, Virginia native has yet to step off the field for the Tigers, playing all1448 minutes for Towson heading into Friday's game. Delgado is one of just seven players in the CAA to log every minute for her respective team.

Another stalwart along the backline, Nicole Nicholas, who played in high school with Delgado, has played in 1403 minutes in 2015, joining Delgado among another elite group in the conference of nine players who have played over 1,400 minutes. Delgado ranks fifth in the conference in minutes played while Nicholas is ninth. Three of the four CAA players ahead of Delgado are members of UNCW's program.

Double Up
For the first time in her collegiate career, Natalia Pinkney scored multiple goals, pushing a pair past Northeastern in the final 12 minutes of Sunday's game. The junior speedster posted her first goal in the 79th minute, followed by the game-tying goal in the 87th minute to force the Tigers' third-straight overtime game.

Better Late Than Never
Natalia Pinkney has a flare for dramatic goals. The Perkasie, Pennsylvania native has scored six of her seven goals the season in the second half or overtime. Her lone first half goal came in the 45th minute against Villanova with just 33 seconds left before halftime.

Pinkney's second-earliest goal this season came in the 69th minute against Iona, while scoring twice in the 78th minute (High Point, James Madison), once in the 79th against Northeastern and once in the 87th minute, also against Northeastern. The latest Pinkney has scored this season was in the 107th minute to end double overtime against Saint Francis University.
