Protect Our House: The Tigers wrap up a five-match home stand with a pair of matches this weekend. Towson hosts College of Charleston before welcoming UNC Wilmington on Sunday for a pair of key Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) contests. Friday, kids are encouraged to attend the match in costume and trick-or-treat on the concourse before the match. Sunday's contest will be the Tigers' Autism Awareness match.

Series History: Towson will look to build on the momentum of a 3-1 win at College of Charleston earlier this month. That victory was the Tigers' first ever against the Cougars. Charleston leads the all-time series, 5-1.
Sunday's meeting will be the 29th all-time between the Tigers and Seahawks. Towson leads the series 19-8 as the Tigers have won five of the last eight matches. UNCW's 3-1 victory earlier this month snapped a two-match win streak for the Tigers.
I'm Honored: For the fifth time in nine weeks, the CAA Rookie of the Week belonged to a Tiger on Monday. Redshirt freshman
Anna Holehouse took home the honor for the second time this season. Holehouse had 73 digs (6.08 digs per set) as the Tigers went 2-1 last week. She matched her career-high with 30 digs against Delaware while adding 15 assists and a service ace. Holehouse was also named the ECAC Rookie of the Week.
Welcome to the Block Party: Towson posted 10 team blocks in last Saturday's win over William & Mary. Six Tigers recorded at least two blocks in the match. That group was led by juniors
Lindsay Flaherty and
Candace Steadman who had five blocks each. Towson improved to 5-0 this season when it recorded 10 or more team blocks in a match. The Tigers are 16-4 all-time under head coach
Don Metil when they record 10 or more team blocks in a match.
Aces for Autism: For the second straight season, the Tigers will do their part to raise funds and awareness for a good cause with their "Aces for Autism" program. Fans can make pledges either in a flat amount using the donation boxes found on the mezzanine level in SECU Arena or take the TU Team Challenge and pledge per Towson's Kill, Block, Dig, Assist, or Ace season totals. Fans' donations to this event will go toward the organization of their choice, or fans can allow the volleyball team to allocate the funds to the autism organization of its choice.
Denied: Junior
Lindsay Flaherty has been a strong performer at the net for the Tigers throughout her career. On Saturday night against William & Mary, Flaherty reach the 300 block mark for her career. She became the 10th player in program history to record 300 or more blocks in her career. The school record for career blocks is 566 set by
Liz Goubeaux (2001-2004).
Up Next: Following this weekend's action, the Tigers hit the road for the final time in the regular season. Towson visits Hofstra on Friday, Nov. 6 and Northeastern on Sunday, Nov. 8.
