FAIRFAX, Va. – The Towson men's swimming and diving program earned two dual meet victories after day two the George Mason POD Meet on Saturday. The Tigers won eight events and had 23 top-three finishes on the second day of the meet.
Towson defeated George Mason 205.5-135.5 and earned a victory over Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival Drexel 220-131.

HOW IT HAPPENED- The Tigers swept the 400-yard individual medley. Colin Roddy won the event in 4:06.22, followed by Tim Schade (4:06.37) and Noah Pritchard (4:09.83).
- Towson also swept the 200-yard breaststoke as Jeremy Liu earned the first-place finish in 2:07.20. Stefan Keller placed second (2:07.69) followed by Joel Todd in third-place (2:08.60).
- Schade won the 500-yard freestyle in 4:35.10 as Brandon Ress came in second-place (4:36.32).
- Towson impressed in the 200-yard freestyle, winning the top-two spots. Ress won the event with a time of 1:42.58. Will Dougherty followed in second-place (1:42.76).
- Matt McKenney won the 200-yard butterfly in 1:51.09 while Jack Saunderson finished second (1:51.55).
- The Tigers finished second and third in the 100-yard butterfly. Saunderson earned the second-place finish with a time of 50.52 while McKenney placed third (50.61).
- Liu won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.66 while Todd tied for second-place, timing 58.74.
- Towson finished first and third in the 100-yard backstroke, led by Nick Breschi (50.34). Matt Hans placed third with a time of 52.47.
- Breschi also picked up an event win in the 200-yard backstroke, timing 1:52.16. Zach Bishop finished third(1:54.53).
- Hans finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.29.
- The 200-yard medley relay placed second as Breschi, Liu, McKenney and Zach Brech combined for a time of 1:33.70.
- The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Dougherty, Hans, Ress and Brech placed second (3:09.39).
- In the diving events, Jake Casey finished sixth in the three-meter event with a score of 165.75.
Towson heads to George Washington for a dual meet on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m.
