Social Sunday: Towson Football vs Delaware

The defense was out in force for the Towson University football team Saturday afternoon. The Tigers (5-3, 3-2, CAA) limited the visiting Blue Hens of Delaware to just 102 yards of total offense, the fewest yards allowed by an FCS opponent since Towson begin Division I play in 1987. Kicker Sam Hurwitz had a perfect day, hitting all four of his field goal attempts, tying a program record.

The Halloween game featured the hashtag #DelawareFriedChicken for Saturday's CAA football rivalry. The YMCA of Central Maryland was the community partner for the 2 p.m. game, while the CAA's league-wide Be the Match initiative helped add names and potential donors to the bone marrow list.

Below are the best of from Social Media, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, using the hashtag #DelawareFriedChicken

The official hashtag for this week's Towson football game at the University of Maine will be announced early this week.
