Men's Basketball Closes Regular Season Against Delaware

Story Lines
Towson closes out the regular season as they welcome Delaware to SECU Arena.  Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.

Saturday's game will be the final home game for seniors Jamel Flash and Alex Gavrilovic.  Both players will be honored prior to the game.

The game will be the championship matchup in the Tiger Community Challenge.  The matchup features Timonium vs. Towson.  Residents of those communities will receive admission for $4.

The game is also the annual Black Out game.  The first 2,000 fans will receive a free t-shirt.
The Tigers seed for the CAA Tournament is yet to be determined, but Towson will open tournament play against Elon at 6 p.m. on March 6.  The winner will advance to play at noon on March 7.

Towson and Delaware are meeting for the 74th time on the hardwood.  The Blue Hens hold a 43-40 advantage.  Delaware won the earlier matchup in overtime.  The two teams split the season series a season ago.

The Tigers made a huge second-half run against Wiliam & Mary as they turned a 23-point deficit to just five late in the game.

CAA Food Drive
Towson will participate in the CAA food drive Feb. 22-28.  Any fan who brings a can good to the game on Feb. 28 will be able to buy a ticket at a special rate.

Snow Game Tickets
Fans who had purchased tickets for the Feb. 21 game, but could not make it due to the weather, can redeem those tickets for the Feb. 28 game against Delaware.  Call the ticket office at 1-855-TU-Tiger to redeem your tickets.

CAA Tournament Tickets
The 2015 CAA Men's Basketball Championship will be held March 6-9 at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. Call 1-855-TU-TIGER for your tickets.

CAA Wins Since 2012-13 Season
Since the start of the 2012-13 season, Towson has the second most Colonial Athletic Association victories.  The Tigers are 31-18 over that span.

2015 Charleston Classic
Towson has been selected to participate in the 2015 Gildan Charleston Classic on Nov. 19-22, 2015.  Other teams in the tournament include Bradley, George Mason, Long Beach State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall and Virginia.

vs. Delaware
The Tigers and Blue Hens are meeting for the 74th time with Delaware holding a 43-30 advantage in the all-time series.  UD won the earlier meeting in overtime.  The two teams split the season series a season ago.

Earlier vs Delaware
The Tigers and Blue Hens needed overtime to decide a winner as Delaware escaped with a 67-64 win.  John Davis led three players in double figures with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Byron Hawkins added 12 points and Four McGlynn 11.

Second-Half Surge
Towson put together a big surge in the second half against William & Mary as they trimmed a 23-point deficit down to five over an 11:22 span.  The Tigers could not get the stop they needed down the stretch in falling to the Tribe.

Ice Cold Shooting
The Tigers opened the game against William & Mary by hitting five of the their first seven shots.  Over the final 17:10 of the first half, the Tigers went 0-for-26 from the field.  They scored four points at the foul line over that span.
