Road Warriors: The Tigers continue their 13-match road trip this weekend as they head west to take part in the Golden Eagle Invitational hosted by Hampton Inn at Tennessee Tech. The Tigers will face Tennessee Tech and Idaho on Friday before battling Western Carolina on Saturday.
Tiger Tracks: The Tigers extended their win streak to 10 straight matches with three victories at the Penn Tournament. Freshman
Jocelyn Kuilan led the Tigers with 40 kills and five service aces during the three matches in Philadelphia. Senior

Scouting the Opponents: Tennessee Tech enters the tournament with a 1-9 record and looking to snap a three-match losing streak.
Cody Dodd leads the Golden Eagles with 135 kills, 78 digs and 10 service aces. Idaho, which is 2-7 on the season, will face Western Carolina before taking on the Tigers. The Vandals are 2-7 on the year and
Meredith Coba directs the offense having dished out 152 assists. Western Carolina comes into the tournament with a 5-7 record after dropping a contest to Appalachian State last time out.
Elyssa Mulheron leads the defensive efforts with 202 digs.
Series History: Friday's opponents will give the Tigers a chance to have their opponents for the first time ever. The Tigers and Western Carolina have met three times previously with the Catamounts having won all three. The last time the two squads met was in 1982.
Among the National Leaders: The Tigers continue to rank among the national leaders in the stats released on Monday. As a team, the Tigers rank second in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and fifth in the nation for team assists (545). Towson also ranks second in the CAA and ninth in the nation for team kills (575). The Tigers lead the CAA and rank 12th in the nation in w-l percentage (.909) and team service aces (75). Lindsay Flaherty has 31 blocks on the season which gives her 250 blocks for her career. Flaherty needs nine more blocks to move into the top 10 for career blocks at Towson. Redshirt junior
Candace Steadman has 13 blocks this season and now has 191 blocks for her career. Steadman needs nine more blocks to become the 20th player in school history with 200 or more blocks. Finally senior

Aces are a Gir's Best Friend: The Tigers continue to pile up the service aces this season. Towson had 19 service aces last weekend in Philadelphia as
Jocelyn Kuilan and
Anna Holehouse had five service aces each. Towson now has 75 service aces on the season. Eleven players have recorded at least one service ace this season. Kuilan ranks second in the CAA in service aces per set (0.44) while junior
Jessica Lewis ranks 10th while averaging 0.30 per set.
