Scouting the Opponents: James Madison comes into Friday's match looking to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to the College of Charleston. The Dukes are led by Preseason CAA Player of the Year

Casey Foote enters the weekend with 229 kills and 182 digs.
Autumn Brenner has handed out 682 assists while
Sara Zumbach has 259 digs.
Series History: Friday's meeting will be the 51st all-time between the Tigers and the Dukes. The series is tied at 25-25 after the two sides split their two meetings last year with each team winning on its home court. The Tigers have won four of the last seven meetings including a 3-0 victory last year in SECU Arena.
Jocelyn Kuilan led the Tigers with 16 kills and a .667 hitting percentage in that match.
Towson and William & Mary will be meeting for the 35th time in a series that began in 1976. The series is tied at 17-17, the Tigers have won four straight following a pair of 3-1 victories last season.
Defensive Dandy: The Tigers put up a strong defensive effort in the win over Delaware State. Towson held the Hornets to single-digits in all three sets. It was the first time in the rally scoring era (2001) and the first time since 2000 that the Tigers held an opponent to single-digits in every set. The 23 points surrendered by the Tigers were the fewest points allowed since the Tigers held Drexel to 12 points in a match in 2000.
Welcome to the Block Party: Senior
Lindsay Flaherty continues to provide the Tigers with a serious blocking threat at the net. Last year Flaherty recorded the 300th block of her career, becoming the 10th player in program history to reach that mark. Flaherty has 75 blocks in 80 sets played this season, raising her career total to 398 blocks. Flaherty enters play this weekend needing just two more blocks to move into the top five for career blocks at Towson. She would also become the sixth player in program history to record over 400 blocks in her career.
Defense at the Net: One of the keys to success for the Tigers this season has been their ability to limit opponents' success at the net. The Tigers are holding opponents to a .126 hitting percentage this season. Towson held Delaware State to an -.091 hitting percentage on Tuesday night. It was the 16th time this season, the Tigers have held an opponent to an under .200 hitting percentage. Towson has held an opponent to an under .100 hitting percentage nine times this season. Towson leads the CAA and ranks second nationally in that category.
Up Next: The Tigers hit the road following this weekend's action to visit UNCW on Oct. 21 and College of Charleston on Oct. 23. Towson returns to SECU Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 26 to host Delaware at 7 p.m.
