2-Minute Drill
  • Towson returns to conference play as it welcomes New Hampshire to Unitas Stadium for Homecoming.  Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.
  • The Tigers will honor four decades of football as Towson will honor the 1976, 1986, 1996 and 2006 teams during Saturday's game.
  • The two teams are meeting for the first time since the 2013 season.
  • The Tigers are just 3-7 in the all-time series with the Wildcats, but have won each of the last three meetings.
  • Scoring has not been a problem for the Tigers in the three-game winning streak as they are averaging 54.7 points over that span.
  • True freshman Deshaun Wethington rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown against Dartmouth.  He was first true freshman over 100 yards since Darius Victor in 2013
  • The 145 yards is also the most by a true freshman since Terrance West ran for 261 yards against New Hampshire in 2011.
  • The duo of Andre Dessenberg and Christian Summers combined for 23 catches for 280 yards against Dartmouth.  Dessenberg had 12 grabs, one off the school record, while Summers had 11 catches.  Both players had 140 receiving yards.
  • Quarterback Ellis Knudson threw for 305 yards at Dartmouth.  It was his second 300-yard passing game this season.  He is the first QB since Peter Athens in 2013 to have multiple 300-yard passing games in a season.
  • The Tiger defense held Dartmouth to just 255 yards.  It is the lowest total allowed this season.
  • The Tigers close out the month of October by traveling to face Delaware on Oct. 29.  Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.
