Tigers Fall 67-66 to Robert Morris

TOWSON, Md. – Robert Morris rallied from an 11-point second half deficit to defeat Towson, 67-66, in the Barclays Center Classic men's basketball championship contest Saturday night at SECU Arena.
 
The Tigers placed four players in double figures led by John Davis' 18 points and 10 rebounds.

How It Happened
  • Robert Morris outscored Towson, 27-15, over the final 10 minutes, 19 seconds.
  • The Colonials scored nine straight points over a 2:08-span late in the second half to reverse a 61-56 deficit.
  • Billy Giles gave the Colonials the lead for good, 62-61, with 95 seconds remaining following a layup.
  • Second half shooting: Robert Morris 54.2 percent (13-for-24) and Towson 51.7 percent (15-for-29).
