Story Lines
The Tigers play their second-straight ranked CAA opponent on the road as they travel to face #6 Richmond.  Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.

The Tigers and Spiders have been strangers as of late.  The two teams have not played since the 2013 season, and this is only the second meeting since the 2011 season.

The first 30 minutes have been the problem for the Tigers in the previous two games.  Towson is being outscored 54-27 before halftime.  The second half is a different story as the Tigers are outscoring their opponents 29-14.  Also, the Tigers defense is allowing just 99.0 yards a game after recess.

The Tigers defense did not force a turnover against Villanova.  It was the first time in nine games the Tigers did not force a turnover.  The defense responded by returning three turnovers for touchdowns over the next two games.
