Story Lines
The Tigers hit the road for the first of two-straight on the road as they travel to take on No. 7 Elon.  Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Rhodes Stadium.

The contest marks the fifth-straight game the Tigers will play against a ranked opponent.  Elon enters the game ranked No. 7 in the STATS media poll and No. 10 in the coaches poll.

After going four games without throwing a touchdown pass, redshirt freshman quarterback Ryan Stover has thrown three touchdown passes over the past two games.  The last came in the final minute of the victory over Delaware, marking the second game-winning drive of the season for Stover.

The Tigers hold a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series over the Phoenix, but the lone Elon victory came in Towson's last visit to Rhodes Stadium.  In 2015, the Tigers fell, 17-13, in a driving rain storm.

The Tigers contest against Elon can be heard live on CBS Sports Radio 1300.  The voice of the Tigers, Spiro Morekas, will once again be joined by Gordy Combs to call the action.

Saturday Weather
The forecast for Saturday is calling for temperatures to be around 70 degrees with partly sunny skies.

vs. Elon
Saturday marks the seventh meeting between the two schools with the Tigers holding a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series.  The Tigers only loss in the series came on the last trip to Rhodes Stadium.

Last Year vs. Elon
The Tiger defense allowed just two field goals and forced four turnovers in helping Towson to a 23-6 victory.  Shane Simpson rushed for 187 yards and Aidan O'Neill kicked three field goals.

Last Visit to Elon
The trip to Elon in 2015 is one that Tiger fans would like to forget.  A day that feature heavy rain throughout the day was made worse by a few key injuries.  The result was a 17-13 loss for Towson.

Five Straight Against Ranked Opponents
Saturday's game against Elon will mark the Tigers fifth-straight game against a ranked opponent.  Towson's only CAA game this season against an opponent that wasn't ranked was the opener at Stony Brook.  The Seawolves were receiving votes at the time and currently ranked in the Top 25.

Knocking Off a Ranked Opponent
Saturday's victory against Delaware marked the first win over a ranked opponent since knocking off No. 22 Villanova, 28-21, on October 24, 2015.  The win over the Wildcats was also on Homecoming.

Stover Earns 2nd CAA Rookie Honor
After leading Towson on the game-winning drive against Delaware, redshirt freshman quarterback Ryan Stover was named the CAA Rookie of the Week.  He finished the game 20-of-32 for 187 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 56 yards on eight carries.  It is his second rookie honor of the season.

Gallahan Catches Game Winner
Redshirt junior Sam Gallahan is the most experienced wide receiver on the Tigers roster.  On Saturday, Gallahan had his biggest moment in a Towson uniform with one-hand grab in the back corner of the end zone to give the Tigers the victory over Delaware.  It marked the second-straight game in which he has caught a TD pass.

Stover Leads 2nd Game-Winning Drive
In his first season as a starter, Ryan Stover has led the Tigers on a pair of game-winning drives.  He capped an eight-play drive against Delaware with the game-winning touchdown pass.  His first game-winning drive came against Saint Francis when he led the team on a 59-yard drive for the winning field goal as time expired.

Another Late Game Winner vs UD
For the second time in the last four years, the Tigers scored in the game's final minute to defeat Delaware.  On  Saturday, Ryan Stover hit Sam Gallahan for a 14-yard touchdown with 35 seconds left.  In 2014, Darius Victor scored with 49 seconds left to give the Tigers a 24-17 victory.

35 Passing Yards
The Towson defense held Delaware to just 35 passing yards in the victory on Saturday.  It marked the third-straight meeting in which the Blue Hens failed to pass for 100 yards against the Tigers.  UD has only passed for 114 yards total in the last three meetings.
