ROCHESTER, Md. – Playing its first game in 11 days, the Towson University men's basketball team had four players reach double figures during a 97-86 setback to Oakland at The Blacktop At O'rena in a nonconference contest Wednesday night.
In dropping its first game since Nov. 10, Towson's 10-game win streak ended.

How It Happened
- Zane Martin led Towson in scoring for the sixth consecutive game with 22 points.
- It was Martin's seventh game this season with at least 20 points.
- Jordan McNeil made all seven of his shots, including both of his 3-pointers to finish with a career best 18 points.
- It was McNeil's third double-digit performance of the season.
- Mike Morsell scored 17 points and made four 3-pointers.
- For Morsell, it was the seventh time this season he made double digit 3-pointers.
- In addition to scoring 11 points, Deshaun Morman finished with a career best five steals.
- The Tigers won the battle of benches, 35-11.
- Oakland's Kendrick Nunn caught fire and made six 3-pointers during the Golden Grizzlies' 31-16 burst to finish the first half.
- Nunn scored 22 of his 31 points in the opening half.
- It was Nunn's second consecutive 30-point outing.
- Also posing problems for the Tigers were Jalen Hayes and Martez Walker, who combined for 45 points.
- Hayes and Walker also combined to attempt more free throws (23) than Towson as a team (18).
- In trailing 52-34 at intermission, Towson never found its shooting touch as it made 36.1 percent of its shots in the first half.
- Oakland had 12 assists on its 15 first half baskets.
- The Golden Grizzlies opened the second half by making their first five shots.
