CONWAY, S.C. – Towson senior Holiday Cahill moved closer to the school all-time home run record during the Tigers tough 4-3 setback to host Coastal Carolina in the second game of the Kickin' Chicken Classic Saturday evening.
 
How It Happened

• Cahill belted her second home run of the season and the 30th of her stellar career in the first inning.
• Her two-out, two-run home run staked Towson to a 2-0 lead.
• Cahill had two hits for her second multi-hit game of the season.
• Cahill reached base in all three of her plate appearances as she drew a walk.
• Through four games, Cahill leads Towson with a .455 batting average.
• Towson has hit at least one home run in three of its four games this season.
• Nicole Stockinger had two hits for the Tigers.
• Caroline Reid contributed a sixth inning RBI single that scored Jackie Mounie.
• Reid's hit pulled Towson to within, 4-3.
• Coastal Carolina took the lead for good by scoring three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
• Coastal Carolina added another run in the fifth inning. It proved to be the difference maker.
• Megan Dejter struck out two batters as she tossed her first complete game of the season.
