GREENVILLE, S.C. – Kendyl Scott, Shelby Stracher and Daria Edwards had two hits each for the Towson University softball team during its 4-3 setback to Campbell on the second day of the USC Upstate/Furman Classic at Pepsi Stadium Sunday morning.
 
How It Happened

• Towson left the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning.
• Campbell scored in the top of the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie.
• Brook Miko's two-run single scored Scott and Maddie Wilson and gave Towson a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning.
• Campbell scored single runs in the sixth and seventh innings.
• Towson struck first in the bottom of the second inning when Stracher's RBI double scored Edwards, who was hit by a pitch to leadoff the inning.
• Julia Smith-Harrington struck out four batters.
