Towson Drops Series Finale At Elon

ELON, N.C. – Time to turn the page.

As the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) league contests dwindle, each game takes on added significance for the Towson University softball team if it plans to qualify for the conference tournament.

There's still time to turn things around, but the sand in the hour glass is falling faster following a tough 1-0 loss to Elon at Hunt Softball Park Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers dropped their third CAA series of the season and are now two games behind the College of Charleston in the loss column for the fifth and final playoff spot.

Towson has three CAA series remaining to accomplish its goal beginning this weekend against Drexel at home. That's the only focus right now for the Tigers.
