TOWSON, Md. – Sixty-nine Towson University student-athletes will walk across the stage to receive their diplomas this week during the institution's commencement exercises.
The student-athletes are part of the three-day commencement ceremonies that will send over 3,500 TU students into the world as alumni, starting a new chapter in their lives.
The student-athletes will earn degrees in over 25 different majors. At the Department of Kinesiology Awards and Recognition Dinner this week
Megan Knoblock of the cross country team received the Outstanding Senior Award for Exercise Science. She was also recognized for doing student research.
Jake Ryder from football was also recognized for being the CAA Student-Athlete of the Year.

Kim Schatzel will confer degrees upon the graduates as they walk across the stage Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
