Story Lines
The Tigers are on the road for the second-straight weekend as they travel to face Saint Francis on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.

The game is the final game in the three-game series between the two schools.  The Tigers won the previous two meetings, 35-20 in 2015 and 35-28 in 2016.  Both games took place at Johnny Unitas® Stadium.  

Saint Francis has been one of the top teams at home over the past three seasons.  The Red Flash have won 11-straight games on their home field and have not lost at home since the end of the 2014 season.

Redshirt freshman Ryan Stover threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns in his first start against Maryland.  He also rushed for 52 yards in the game.  He became the first Tiger quarterback to throw two TD passes against an FBS opponent since 2010.

Towson hits the road for the second-straight week as it travels to face Saint Francis.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Radio Coverage
The Tigers contest against Saint Francis can be heard live on CBS Sports Radio 1300.  The voice of the Tigers, Spiro Morekas, will once again be joined by Gordy Combs to call the action.

Saturday Weather
The forecast is calling for temperatures to reach just above 70 degrees during the day with showers ending by late morning.  Temps should be in the low-mid 60s for kickoff.

Saturday marks the sixth all-time meeting between the schools with the Tigers winning all five previous meetings.

Playing the NEC
The Tigers are 14-5 all-time against teams from the Northeast Conference.  This will be the fourth-straight season Towson will play a team from the NEC.  

Following an FBS Game
Towson has enjoyed success in the next game after facing an FBS opponent.  The Tigers are 9-1 when facing FCS opponents the week after facing an FBS opponent.  The only loss came to James Madison in 2012, the week after facing LSU.

Stover Returns to No. 16
Towson quarterback Ryan Stover will return to his customary No. 16 this week.  Stover sported the No. 21 jersey for the first two weeks of the season.

Stover Tosses 2 TD Passes vs. Maryland
Redshirt freshman Ryan Stover tossed for two touchdowns in his first career start against Maryland.  He became the first Tiger signal caller to throw for two touchdowns against an FBS opponent since Chris Hart threw for a pair of touchdowns against Indiana in 2010.

True Freshman Get First TDs
A pair of true freshman reached the endzone for the first time in their careers at Maryland.  Jabari Allen caught a touchdown pass in the second quarter and Rodney Dorsey found the endzone in the fourth quarter.

Simpson Shows Versatility
Shane Simpson showed why he is one of the most versatile backs in the FCS against Maryland.  The sophomore racked up 158 all-purpose yards.  He gained 25 yards on the ground, 53 through the air and 80 on kickoff returns.

Goaline Stand
The Towson defense came up big in the second quarter as they stopped the Terps on 4th-and-goal from inside the 1-yard line.  After a punt return to the 10, Maryland failed to score as Diondre Wallace and Christian Johnson combined on the fourth-down stop.

The Tigers open Colonial Athletic Association action as they travel to face Stony Brook.  Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and can be seen online on CBS Sports Digital.
