PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Towson University men's swimming and diving team split a tri-meet at Drexel with Seton Hall on Saturday. The Tigers totaled 24 top-five finishes and event wins in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley.

Junior Jack Saunderson posted two more victories, finishing first in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley.

How it Happened

• Saunderson won the 100 fly in a time of 48.12 seconds and the 200 IM with a time of 1:52.45. He also finished second in the 200 free and swam the third leg of the yard medley relay in which Towson finished second in 1:34.39.
• Junior Zach Bishop had two runner-up finishes in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke.
• Senior Matt Sieffert and junior Aaron Magazine both posted season-bests in the 1,000-yard freestyle to finish second and fourth, respectively. Magazine also finished fourth in the 500 free.
• The brother tandem of sophomore Matt Essing and senior Nick Essing five top-five finishes. Matt was third in the 50 free while Nick was fourth in the 50, third in the 100 and swam the final leg of the 200-yard medley relay where Towson finished second. The brothers then teamed up with juniors Ben Johnston and Evan Brophy to finish fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
