TOWSON, Md. – Week six of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference schedule sees the Towson University women's soccer team face I-95 foes Delaware and Drexel at home.
 
This week, the Tigers will travel up I-95 to the University of Delaware on Thursday evening for a 7 p.m. game. The Tigers will host senior day against Drexel on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match. The Tigers will be honoring 11 seniors.

Last Time Out
Towson tied Charleston 3-3 in league play on Sunday. The Tigers got their first goal since overtime against Lehigh on Sep. 12, snapping a 550-minute scoreless drought. The Tigers had 15 shots on goal and Jodie Burchell, Afton Kalkoske and Jenna Blank all scored for the Towson. Charleston had 12 shots on goal as Megan Collins made nine saves on the afternoon.
 
The Series: Delaware (Delaware leads 14-9-2)
Towson will travel to Delaware for the 26^th meeting all-time between the programs. Towson lost the last match 1-0 last year at the Tiger Soccer Complex. It was a penalty kick by the Blue Hens gave them the win.
 
The Series: Drexel (Towson leads 10-9-2)
Like the match with Delaware last year the Tigers saw the game come down to a penalty kick to decide the game. Drexel out-shot the Tigers 15-7, putting 11 chances on goal. Each team was called for 10 fouls. The one-goal decision was the first in the series since a double overtime tie back in 2014.
 
Scouting the Tigers (3-11-2, 0-5-1 CAA)
Justine Stoner has started all 16 games this season for the Tigers and has five goals and one assist. Evelyn Neidert and Jenna Blank each have two goals apiece while Nikki Logan leads the team with three assists. Megan Collins has a total of 1,504 minutes of action with 80 saves on the season.
 
Scouting the Blue Hens (2-10-1, 1-4-0 CAA)
Delaware has one conference win this season against Elon where the Blue Hens won 1-0 in overtime. Dani Kabat leads the team with three goals this season while Riley Dixon, Damali Simon-Ponte and Arna Arnthorsdottir each have one goal apiece this season. The Blue Hens have two goalies who have played this season with Kamryn Stablein playing 827 minutes with 45 saves.
 
Scouting the Dragons (5-5-4, 2-3-0 CAA)
The Dragons are heading back on the road after hosting three games. The leading scorer for the Dragons is Shaelyn McCarty with six goals and one assist for 13 points this season. Kiera Hennessy has six points with three goals and Morgan Rees has four points with two goals. Goalkeeper Libby Baeza has recorded 62 saves in 1,383 minutes.
 
Honoring the Seniors
The Tigers are honoring 11 seniors on Sunday: Lexy Andrews, Jen Balzan, Megan Collins, Danielle Gardner, Renee Gast, Xavia Lemott, Sam Lotti, McKenzie McCaull, Evelyn Neidert, Sarah Quick and Alexis Toles.
 
Tigers in the Community
On Sept. 15, members of the Towson University women's soccer team visited the Aigburth Manor Block Party to play with neighborhood children and meet members of the area. The Tigers were joined by members of the University's Civic Engagement & Social Responsibility organization as well.
