WILMINGTON, N.C. - In the last Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference game of the season, the Towson University women's soccer team traveled down south for a Sunday afternoon matchup against UNCW. The Tigers fell to UNCW in overtime 4-3.
Towson (4-12-3, 1-6-2 CAA) had three people score on goal for them in the matchup.

Jenna Blank and
Olivia Ramirez scored for the Tigers.
For UNCW (9-6-0, 3-5-0 CAA) Kirsten Bootes, Audrey Harding, Ashley Johnson and Molly McGarry scored for the Seahawks.
How it Happened
- Towson was hot early with a goal by Christiana Davey at the 3-minute mark, assisted by Jenna Blank for her first goal of the season. That goal gave the Tigers an early 1-0 lead.
- UNCW fired back with a goal by Kirsten Bootes to tie the game 1-1 at the 5-minute mark.
- Davey took another shot at goal, but Seahawks goalie Caitie Broderick saved it.
- At the 30-minute mark, Ashley Johnson took a high shot for UNCW.
- After a foul by UNCW, Justine Stoner took a shot for the Tigers but it went wide right.
- Danielle Gardner took a shot at the 39-minute mark, but Broderick had the save.
- Audrey Harding would then score for the Seahawks and bring the score 2-1 at the 40-minute mark. She would have one more shot go wide right to end the period.
- UNCW would strike first in the second period with a goal by Ashley Johnson to give the Seahawks a 3-1 lead at the 56-minute mark.
- Towson came right back with a goal by Blank at the 61-minute mark to bring the score to 3-2.
- Molly McGarry took a shot for UNCW at 65-minute mark, but it was blocked.
- Ramirez took a shot for the Tigers at the 72-minute mark, but Sydney Schneider saved it.
- Sheyenne Bonnick then took a shot for the Tigers at the 75-minute mark.
- Back-to-back shots by Tigers Nicki Logan and Evelyn Neidert were saved and went wide right respectively.
- Ramirez scored for the Tigers at the 89-minute mark, assisted by Neidert for her first goal of the season and to tie the game at 3-3.
- Megan Collins would save one more shot from Seahawks Molly McGarry and send the game into overtime.
- UNCW's Baley Edwards would take the first shot to start the overtime period; Collins saved it.
- A foul on Towson would set up a penalty kick goal for Molly McGarry at the 94-minute mark and the game ended at 4-3.
