TOWSON, Md. – Quinton Drayton led five Towson University men's basketball players in double figures with a career best 21 points. His memorable performance helped Towson defeat Wesley, 93-66, in a non-conference contest at SECU Arena Sunday afternoon.
Drayton was an equal opportunity point producer as he scored 11 in the first half and added 10 after intermission. Playing in his second career collegiate contest, the redshirt freshman was also one of five Tigers to finish with at least five rebounds.

Quotable
Drayton on what helped him enjoy a career best scoring game.
"Coach emphasized to me playing hard defense and being shot ready. That's what I worked on all last year and that's what I tried to do today is be shot ready. Today felt good because all of my loved ones kept telling me to stay ready and your time is going to come. We were much bigger than Wesley especially at the guard spot so I knew if I shot and caught the ball in rhythm, they wouldn't be able to bother my shot so that's what I took advantage of."
