Towson Falls Short In Extra Innings At ECU

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Madison Wilson, Brook Miko, and Jessica Swistock combined for seven of Towson's 10 hits during a tough 4-3 loss to host East Carolina in nine innings of a non conference softball game at the Pirate Clash Friday afternoon.
 
Towson split two games on Friday.

How It Happened
  • East Carolina plated the decisive run in the bottom of the ninth inning by scoring an unearned run.
  • Wilson paced the Tiger offense with her third three-hit game of the season.
  • She has at least one hit in every game.
  • Wilson has started the season with five multi-hit performances.
  • Trailing, 3-1, Wilson hit a two-run double in the fifth inning that scored Swistock and Jaclyn Mounie.
