Dejter's 70th Career Complete Game Helps TU Split

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Towson University softball team split a doubleheader with the College of Charleston in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action at Patriots Point Saturday afternoon.
 
Towson captured the opening game, 3-2, behind Megan Dejter's 70th career complete game. The Tigers saw an early lead disappear in a 15-7 loss in the nightcap.

Milestone Alert
  • Towson set a program record for most wins in a single season.
  • Brook Miko became the CAA's all-time single season leader in RBIs in the first inning of the second game. She passed former James Madison standout Sarah Mooney's previous mark of 67 set in 2013.
  • Dejter and Katie Lingmai are the only two Towson pitchers with 70 career complete games. Lingmai has 83 career complete games.
  • Towson set the single season record for total bases with 721, surpassing the previous mark of 720 established in 2016.
