Strong Start Lifts Towson To Sweep Of Drexel

PHILADELPHIA – Megan Dejter tossed her 64th career complete game to lift the Towson University softball team to a 9-1 victory over Drexel in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) contest Saturday at Drexel Field.

This was the Tigers' first three game sweep of Drexel since 2013. The last time Towson swept a three-game series from Drexel in Philadelphia was 2004.

The Tigers extended their winning streak to six by outscoring the Dragons, 29-12, during the weekend series. Towson senior Kendyl Scott raised her batting average to .484 with her 20th multi-hit game of the season.
