Stockinger Homers Against Hofstra In Setback

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Nicole Stockinger hit her team-leading 14th home run during  Towson's 9-4 loss to Hofstra in an opening round contest of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Tournament at James Madison's Veterans Memorial Park Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Tigers will play an elimination game against UNCW later this evening.

  • Madison Wilson had two hits, including a two-run double.
  • Kendyl Scott doubled on the second pitch of the game.
  • Scott scored following a pair of wild pitches to give Towson a 1-0 lead.
